Jr NTR Dammu release on April 5

Young Tiger NTR’s upcoming film ‘Dammu’ will start a fresh schedule today on huge sets at Annapurna Studios, Hyderabad. This schedule will commence till November 6. Kajal Aggarwal is playing female lead in this film, while Karthika Nair is acting as second fiddle. ‘Simha’ fame Boyapati Srinu is the director of the film.

According to our sources, the makers are planning to release the movie on April 5. NTR’s last summer release was ‘Narasimhudu’. The movie failed to deliver and went on to become one of the biggest disasters of the decade. Coming to ‘Dammu’, the makers are pretty confident over the movie success. It is learnt that the second hour of the film offers high voltage action sequences and powerful dialogues. Stay tuned for more.

Story: Tony (NTR) a typical character, lives in Mumbai and does hitman kind of stuff for Money.Once he goes to Kashmir on a job and he meets Niharika (Tamanna) in a situation where the terrorists abducts tourists along with them.At that point of time Niharika (Tamanna) asks Tony to feel her as his girl friend as they are going to die in the hands of terrorists. Luckily they are saved; Tony comes to Hyderabad in Search of Tamanna and expresses his love and she rejects as she is already engaged to another guy,but Tony tries to impress her. The Story twists when Tamanna’s wouldbe and son of Tanikellabharani a minister gets irritated with Tony’s acts and tries to eliminate him.Tony in return kills the whole Ministers gang.Why did tony is after all the people related to Tamanna, what is the flash back is the rest of the story.

Artist performance:
NTR : a tailor made role for him in action scenes,dances and in delivering powerful dialogues.As a lover boy who is after tamanna he molded into that character exceptionally good and entertaining.
Tamanna is lucky to get a perfoming role with lot of screen time in a big hero’s film.She is superb in the flash back scenes.Cute in songs and danced well.
Prakash raj as Don as usual did well.

NTR’s attempt to transform his image balancing his huge mass following is appreciable.
Director Surender Reddy dealt the movie very well with gripping screenplay and stylish taking with good technical team.

The biggest release ever in Telugu film industry history, Oosaravelli's first show was screened in Kuwait. The talk from this show suggests that this film is a minimum guarantee one with an arresting screenplay. Surender Reddy, who made a thrilling debut with Atanokkade is back in his terms, says the reports.

First half of the movie is entertaining with breezy comedy and lovable romantic track coupled with neatly choreographed songs. Second half is a bit heavy and light on entertainment it seems. Oosaravalli Photo circulated in the net makes the news


It is often said that Tamannah is one heroine who knows how to maintain diplomacy and tact while dealing with film people, especially the top heroes. However, even she has now put a wrong foot. Buzz is that Tamannah has called Junior NTR, her hero in ‘Oosaravelli’ as ‘Headless’.

Before you wonder as to how this happened, you should have a look at the photo which is being circulated across all the corners of internet. Well, this is again the creativity and intelligent thinking of few cine buffs who came up with a photo from ‘Oosaravelli’ and added their caption on behalf of Tamannah.

Those who saw the photo say this is indeed the perfect dialogue for the situation. Of course, Tammu would not have said anything like that but many say she must have at least thought inside her mind like that. Now, what exactly happened in that scene we will know only after ‘Oosaravelli’ releases. Then you can decide if it was ‘headless’ or not.

Tollywood young hunk Mahesh Babu’s Dookudu has been doing outstanding business at the Box-Office now to have a open fight with Dookudu d Young Tiger Junior NTR is arriving for this Dussera with his Oosaravelli. The film has already witnessed good pre-release business, thanks to the super craze of the Young Tiger.

Oosaravelli has now surpassed Dookudu record of highest number of screens in Nizam with 220 theaters. Mahesh’s Dookudu has recently created the record with 205 theaters crossing Puli and now, Oosaravelli has acquired the blockbuster opening record beating Dookudu. Apart from Nizam, the film is going to see a record release in other territories too, reveals the distributors.

Oosaravelli has Tamanna as leading lady. Surender Reddy wielded the megaphone and BVSN Prasad produced it. RR Movie Makers are releasing the film across A.P. As earlier reported, Oosaravelli is releasing worldwide on 6th October.

Can Jr NTR’s ‘Oosaravelli’ beat Mahesh Babu’s ‘Dookudu’?

That’s what the industry wants to know as Oosaravelli producers pull out all the stops in their marketing campaign





The war is on between Jr NTR and Mahesh Babu. Or rather, between Oosaravelli and Dookudu. Oosaravelli’s producer BVSN Prasad is doing everything he can to make sure that their film comes out tops in the fight. We hear that while Dookudu released in 75 centres in the United States of America, Oosaravelli will be released in 91 centres across the country. He has also planned for several premiere shows the day before the official release on October 6. The producer seems to be of the belief that if he increases the number of theatres, they can rake in more moolah and beat the opening record set by Dookudu. In the film’s major market, the Nizam territory, Oosaravelli will release in 220 theatres – which is 15 theatres more than Dookudu. We also hear that Prasad has ordered for 200 cutouts of Jr NTR to be set up in major cities, towns and theatres across Andhra Pradesh. The makers are also promoting the two major fights in the film, with the hope that it will draw in the audiences. But whether they will succeed in defeating Dookudu remains to be seen.

Oosaravelli also stars Tamannaah Bhatia, Payal Ghosh and Prakash Raj.

Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (born May 20, 1983) more popularly known as Jr.NTR, NTR Jr.,Tarak, or just NTR, is a popular Indian film actor. He is a grandson of Late Shri Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, who is a legendary actor, statesman, and former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. He is the son of Sri. Nandamuri Harikrishna (NTR's son) and Smt. Shalini. He is fondly called as Tarak by his family, friends and close associates. Later, he changed his name to Taraka Rama Rao in honor of his grandfather. Many cine and political analysts believe that he is the next big star from the Nandamuri family.

Tarak began his career as a Kuchipudi dancer and a child artist. His first step into Tollywood was with the movie Bala Ramayanam, directed by Gunasekhar. Ironically, his character in the movie was Lord Sri Rama, a role "patented" by his grandfather NTR ! After a few years, Tarak made his re-entry into the Tollywood with Ninnu Choodalani in 2001; but it failed to perform well at the box office. He went on to gain fame with Student No. 1 (also released in 2001), directed by S.S. Rajamouli, followed by Subbu and Aadi, which was a blockbuster, and created huge stardom for Tarak. In January 2003, Tarak came up with Naaga; though the movie raised some political issues worth giving a thought, it was average at box-office. However, in July 2003, his movie Simhadri became a block-buster and the highest grossing film in Tollywood, and made Tarak and director Rajamouli as household names. At the age of 20, he became a sensation of his generation and gave his seniors a run for their glory. When asked, what message would he like to give to fans, he responded by saying "I'm too young to give any message to all those who have so much respect and love for the Nandamuri family and me. I simply bow my head to them." His first release of 2004, Andhrawala, flopped at the box office, but the next movie, Samba, did better, and was at the top of the box office for fifty days. In 2005 his two releases, Naa Alludu and Narasimhudu, flopped at the box office. In 2006, his movie Ashok had good openings, His next movie Rakhi, which proved a success at the box office, has gained Tarak admirable reviews from fans and critics alike. The movie was directed by Krishna Vamsi. His next movie, Yamadonga, which was inspired by his grandfather's blockbuster Yamagola, released on August 15, 2007. The movie brought him back into the super-hit stream, and became the sensational movie of the year 2007 in Tollywood.

Kantri was released in 2008, which exposed his superb skill of dancing, has also done well at the box-office. This is for the first time, that Tarak has given two hit movies in a row. His all-round acting abilities, and wonderful performance in 2007 blockbuster Yamadonga, made Late Legendary Actor Shoban Babu remark Tarak as one of his favorite actors in this generation, and reckoned that Tarak has done everything in such a short span of time to impress everyone.
